Review
Let's start with the unboxing. The box is unique in and of itself - with a steampunk leather and riveted look. Once you open the box, the Diesel Mega Chief Chronograph, jumps out at you with the smooth steampunk look of leather and steel that you expected when it was ordered. Even though I knew it was a 59 mm watch, the size was surprising. The first thing that I did was to check to see if it was a copy - there are a couple of tell-tell signs of copies. There is a chrome metal riveted plate curved from the 11 to 1 o'clock indicators with the words "Only The Brave" engraved, on copies it is painted on and not a separate plate. Second check is the back of the watch that has an etched logo that is perfectly centered - on the majority of copies it is either a little off center or small. The last check is with the band, there needs to be the Diesel Logo laser etched on the buckle side, and the words "Genuine Leather" etched on the belt side. With my watch, these were all correct - and I was very glad that there were specific things for me to check for validation that this was not a copy.
