The Review
I received this watch is 2005 as a gift from my wife. Prior to this, I had some Fossil Watches that were more gimmicky than functional. This is the watch that started me wanting to collect watches. There was only one problem, I had 4 children and no real disposable income to speak of. Now, all of my kids are adults and out on their own (for the most part) and I have 3 grandsons and some disposable income. So I have started to collect - while Invicta is by no means a "Small Band" watch companies, it is one of my favorite watch companies. You will see a few Invicta's in the collection, and a few other mainstream watch companies that I like.
Invicta's Men's Pro Diver Automatic 40mm (Model #8926) is a great affordable starting point for those beginning collectors that want to get out of the Quartz watches and into automatics. This is a very versatile watch, the stainless steel bracelet and the black and silver face is very clean - it can be worn with a suit or with shorts and a t-shirt. Making this a great daily wear watch, the bonus is the fact that it is a Diver - it can be used on the boat, jet ski and even a day fishing on the lake. I have never had an issue with the craftmanship, the movement or any aspect of the watch and would recommend this to even an avid collector.
