Nautis Watch Company
Nautis is derived from nauta, the Latin word for navigator. Navigating the open seas requires preparation, courage and strength. The Nautis Stealth 200 is the second watch from my Watch Gang Black Subscription, and I still have not been let down by the Watch Gang. While this watch is a Swiss Rhonda Quartz movement and not an automatic, it is still an impressive looking watch.
The unboxing was fairly decent, Nautis took some time to make sure that they paid attention to small details when it came to the box. It is by far not the fanciest of boxes - although it is nice - it is the fact that they took the time to ensure that the watch was protected, they have a soft cloth insert that covers the watch with the Nautis logo on the cloth and the outside of the leatherette box. Initial impression is good, I like the slightly square shape, and with the 45mm Case Size, it is a nice comfortable fit on my wrist. All in all this is a very nice watch to add to my collection, and I will wear it as much as I can.
The fit:
The Nautis Stealth 200 has a nice stainless steel bracelet, with the case and dial having a clean and simple look. This is what I would list as a Sport/Diver hybrid. The simple fact that you can wear this watch while in a business environment - both business casual and a suit, and where it for a day on the lake or the beach without being concerned about it getting water on it. This is a great value for a utility daily wear watch, if you are just starting in the watch collecting arena - the Nautis Stealth 200 is a great mid-range starting point - of course, this is in reference to my definition of affordable.
