First Impressions
The initial overview:
I did not video the unboxing, the box was nice but pretty basic - it has a nice finish and the Reign logo, but other than that it was fairly simple.
So, on with the first impressions of the watch - The Reign Asher Automatic in Grey - was not the same one that was on the Reign Watches website, but this was a bonus in my opinion, the Reign Asher Automatic that I received was a lot more impressive - the case was actually Stainless Steel IP Gunmetal. This actually changed my predetermined opinion on the watch, and it was a nice surprise, also the edition that I received does not have the Observation Caseback. I must say that this is a definite conversation starter, the function of the dials will definitely bring curious admirers.
The fact that the Crown is at the 12 O'clock location is cool looking with a red line in the center with red directional arrows just above the crown itself. The Lens design is not true rectangle, it has some interesting angles to it. Being that the case is done in IP Gunmetal with the grey dial sets a nice tone to the face - there are also four brass screws in the stainless steel IP Gunmetal bezel. The strap is a nice Light Grey Genuine Leather Stitched strap with a IP Gunmetal buckle, this completed the look and finish of a great timepiece.
The fit:
Let me start with the obvious - I am a big guy (6' 7" and 295), so this strap, while super nice - is just a little small. I can only wear this with the last tang hole on the watch. This means that I will be ordering some additional straps before I can give a better fit review. I will post updates on the straps, when I order them and then again when I install them on the Reign Asher Automatic Gunmetal.
