Ulysses Girard Marlin (Black/Silver)

Ulysses Girard

In the year 2014, Ulysse Girard made its return with grand creations that speak to the soul. The spirit and tradition of Ulysse Girard has been brought back to greatness with expert precision.

From 1862 to today, Ulysse Girard has exuded a passion for creating watches that provide not only classic functionality, but also an elegant style that gives each owner a sense of pride of how they present themselves.

First Impressions

The initial overview:

This is a very nice sports style quartz watch, Ulysses Girard Marlin is definitely a very nicely made watch. The box was very nice, not overly extravagant, but nice. The Ulysses Girard Marlin has an easy to read dial with magnification of the date. All in all this is a great timepiece, and would be a nice addition to anyone's collection.

The fit:

I tried on the Ulysses Girard Marlin, and it was a nice and comfortable fit. The stainless steel bracelet is very comfortable, the deployant clasp is easily opened and closed. I actually have no complaints in regards to the wearability of this watch, but I did not add this to my collection, as it is not my preferred style. In fact, I gave it to a family friend for a birthday present as the starter piece, as he has shown interest in starting to collect. This is by far a great starter for the beginning collector, and I hope that he enjoys quality timepieces the same way that I do.
